Design Team Takes on NYC: Trip Recap

Last month, our Design team embarked on an exciting trip to New York City to explore the Steelcase ancillary collection.

This trip was nothing short of inspiring, and the team returned to Grand Rapids overflowing with fresh ideas and enthusiasm, eager to infuse their projects with newfound creativity. The trip began as our team flew into Newark and headed straight to the Steelcase NYC WorkLife Center. Spread across three floors, the WorkLife Center was full or inspiration and innovation.
Each floor offered unique insights and innovative designs that left our team in awe. The experience was a perfect start to their trip, setting the tone for the days ahead.
The next day was a whirlwind of showroom tours across NYC. We visited several renowned design showrooms, including Halcon, Moooi, FLOS/Louis Poulsen, and DesignTex. Each stop provided us with a wealth of inspiration and innovative ideas that we couldn’t wait to bring back to our projects in the communities we serve.

Our trip to New York was more than just a visit; it was an opportunity of discovery and inspiration.

The insights and ideas we gathered from the Steelcase ancillary collection and other showrooms have already begun to influence our work, and we are so excited to see how these fresh perspectives will shape our future projects.
